I think open video platforms with smooth and powerful APIs will be the way forward for the OVP industry. From my perspective, I have numbers of free options going for video on behalf of my customers. However, the issue with those open platforms such as Youtube, Vimeo, etc is that I can't get rid of their actual look and feel. I mean, video should be as open and flexible as image plugins are today for us web developers. The OVP that can give this, with a decent price tag, to the web developer community might be a winner in the OVP race. Looking forward to your reply.
